I know im quite late on this, but...

Im big into Coheed and Cambria now.

I also like Disturbed, SOAD, Thrice, and Envy on the Coast.

I usually listen to one album a whole lot and more or less exclusivly, but my brother gave me 4 coheed albums at once so they havent gotten out of my system yet.

Coheed are immense, seriously check out The Prize Fighter Inferno - it's Claudio's side project.

Yea, i just read about it when looking over the Armory Wars on Wikipedia. It seemed like some good stuff, and my brother has it so he'll have to hook me up with My Brother's Blood Machine and also Second Stage Turbine Blade.

Im trying to learning the lyrics to the songs right now, but its hard to do since im trying to do it for In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth Three, GSAIBS4 Volume 1 and GSAIBS4 Volume 2 all at once. I think my favorite album so far is GSAIBS4: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness.

Oh and i realize that i dont have to type the names out like that, but i just love saying them, theyre so unnecessarily long :D

i know this is gonna sound bullshit, but personally i love them all, and honestly can't say that X > Y. There are songs on all of their albums that are amazing - Junesong, Favour House Atlantic, the Willing Well or The End Complete series(es) for example, are epic. The shear rage and breathe of Claudio's voice, and the sounds that fucker can get out of a guitar is something that - tbh - Jimmy mother fucking Page would be proud of.

Well honestly i love all their shit, but i think GSAIBS4: FFTTEOM has the most songs that ill just listen to when i need a quick dose of coheed. Theres really no way to pick a favorite. When my brother showed me pictures of Claudio for the first time i was amazed that a big Hispanic dude like him can belt shit out like he does in Favour House Atlantic, or sing so mellowly and beautifully like he does in Wake Up. And arent some of the guitar bits, (be it Claudio or Travis) some of the best guitar rifts or whatever of all time? Once the Armory Wars a redrawn and remade, i hope they eventually make it into some kind of movie like Across the Universe, with all Coheed Music. Like maybe 1 movie per album. If its done well and Claudio has a major hand in it, it might just make me lose it all over the place every time i watch it. That would be epic as hell.

i do know what you mean though, the only problems i have with 2 and 3 is that the production on them is a little bit shit, FFTTEOM and NWFT are both beautiful pieces of music production.

yes, yes, i'm an audio faggot - fuck you all!

Oh ive never listened to 2, i didnt get that from my brother....yet...i steal all his music. Which is his own damn fault cause he gets me into it...

Anyways, 3 is amazing, im sure 2 is as well, but i havent heard it yet. Ive had FFTTEOM and NWFT longer and theyre also higher on my playlist, so i tend to hear them more then 3. I should fix that...

how can you actually say that?

you may not like Metallica - hell, it's your choice - but they are some of the best musicians that are alive today, and their stage presence and shows are second to none.

That's just fact.

Music isn't about how hard it is to make or how talented the players are, its about what actually sounds good
