Hypocrisy , Benediction , Gwar , Slayer , Grave , Ministry pretty much old school death metal and heavy metal. But however i do take breaks from it and listen to classic rock. I even got to see Living Sacrifice live at Harpos here in Detroit and didn't get into a fight with the skinheads(fags).

I usually listen to Heavy Metal or Power Metal. Most of time I listen to Spanish Heavy Metal (Baron Rojo, Obus, Angeles del Infierno...) but I actually like all Heavy Metal and Hard Rock.

It's not the right time to be sober
Now the idiots have taken over
Spreading like a social cancer
Is there an answer?

Mensa Membership exceeding
Tell me why and how are all these stupid people breeding
Watson, it's really elementry
The industrial revolution has flipped a bitch on evolution
The benevolent and wise are being thwarted, ostracized
What a bummer
The world keeps getting dumber
Insensitivity is standard, and faith is being fancied over reason

Darwin's rolling over in his coffin
The fittest are surviving much less often
Now everything seems to be reversing
and it's worsening
Someone flopped a steamer in the gene pool
Now angry mob mentality is no longer the exception
It's the rule
and I'm starting to feel a lot like Charlton Heston
Stranded on a primate planet
Apes and orangutans that ran it to the ground
Were generals and the armies that obeyed them
Followers following fables
Philosiphies that enable them to rule without regard

There's no point for democracy when ignorance is celebrated
Political scientists get the same one vote as some Arkansas inbred
Majority rule don't work in mental institutions
Somtimes the smallest softest voice carries the grand biggest solutions

So what are we left with?
A nation of God fearing pregnant nationlists
Who feel it's their duty to populate the homeland
Pass on traditions, how to get ahead religions
and prosperity via simpleton culture

The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
The idiots are taking over
(They're takin' over!)

Not bad Starko, but the singers voice is sorta annoying. I'm not even sure why, I like some singers who sounf fairly similar to him but just something about his voice, some small thing is just, just off, and it makes it sound rather annoying. Might just be the song I don't know, but just something about it just ruins the song for me.

Gonna buck the trend and say hard/death metal does nothing for me, must be the age , more into the classic groups Zepplin ,Floyd, Hendrix, Jam into Pearl Jam ,Greenday,Foo fighters listening to alot of lyrical English folk singer Frank Turner lately .

you get used to it tbh - it's really distinctive and just seems to cut through all the songs that they have - but when you get used to it it's fine.

Also, this is the other half of At the Drive-In, when when they split Cedric and Omar formed The Mars Volta (who are another immense band) and Jim Ward and the rest formed Sparta.

hehe, I was raised on that, my dad has an original pressing of Dark Side. Old Greenday and Foo's is better than the new stuff imho - not sure what it is about it but...yea, something about it just doesn't excite me like the older stuff.

Greenday new shit is well complete and utter shit! Also I like the foo fighters new stuff and don't really know if i prefer the old or new. But ya, greenday basically fell to shit, and somehow that made them popular.

I'll be joining the "I don't listen to music whilst in game" bandwagon.

Or, well, I do, but it's whatever comes in game unless it's very irritating. (EG DAoC combat music - it's only a couple of minutes long and you spend most of your time in combat so lets loop it indefinitely! Hurray! :? )

I'll be joining the "I don't listen to music whilst in game" also .It kinda, makes me be careless.

Although some times i just needed to listen to some of my favourite bands while playing.I mean how the hell i was supposed to play Lineage || for more than 15 hours straight with just killing the same mob over and over again...
In the end i was just listening to the music and playing mechanically.
And another exception was before i started playing arena games in WoW,i always listened to Ratamahatta from Sepultura 8-)
It was my characters name,so it kinda brought my adrenaline to the maximum...

p.s. I love those smilies
