Damn you!
Fine, then I guess I'll have to settle for Tormund Giantsbane, assuming you haven't taken THAT too.

Tormund Giantsbane (aka Tormund Thunderfist), Tall-talker, Horn-blower, Breaker of Ice, Husband to Bears, Mead-king of Ruddy Hall, Speaker to Gods, and Father of Hosts.
He's a character that fits perfectly the type I want to roleplay in EoC.
P.S.
You should really read a Song of Ice and Fire.

So I've heard. For now TV series and awesome boardgame I play with 5 other friends every 2 weeks must suffice.

EoC homepage and forum are down since Friday...
I guess it's time to say bye-bye to my $200 investment.

The dark side of pledging rears its ugly head. Sad.

Can't you get money back from kickstarter in some way? Or is that just if it doesn't reach funding?

For me, that is Raymond E. Feist books. I recommend at least reading the Riftwar Saga and Serpent War Saga's; in that order (timeline and all).

Yeah Feist is a great read but don't forget Robert Jordan! A song of ice and fire is fucking awesome. But still, none of these can reach the epicness that is the night's down trilogy or the commonwealth saga from Peter .F. Hamilton.

sent question on KS about the forum being down. We'll see if they reply. If not I will try to reclaim my cash even though I doubt I will - just for the giggles.

Their facebook says they are having server troubles and are working on it... Its been days, tbh i would not trust a company that cant keep their website functioning even if they do come back.

lol, it's already almost week when the site is down. This and the fact that the only guy that was driving this project onward (somehow) left it 1.5 month ago is the sign of the decline. Let's be honest: it seems that EoC has failed.
This will certainly impact my future decisions about supporting semi-professional teams trying to raise money for the project they are not fully invested and involved in.

Yep, it's dead.
Damn shame if you ask me. I was even more excited about EoC than I was about Star Citizen.
